Snake Removal
Are snakes in Colorado protected?

Remain calm and keep a visual on the snake. If possible, place a large container over the snake with something weighted on top until a professional arrives. Are there venomous snakes in Colorado?
Yes, though most snakes in Colorado are non-venomous. The prairie rattlesnake (Crotalus viridis) is Colorado's most widespread venomous snake.
